Math Manipulatives for DIY Lightbox

Howdy ya’ll!!!
So you know I love my DIY lightbox that I made last summer.
It’s a HUGE hit in the classroom.  It’s hands on.  It’s engaging.  It’s fun.  It lights up real pretty and all.  It almost sparkles and you know how much I love things that sparkle.  OOOO SPARKLY!
Well you also know that I hoard the little plastic shot glasses from Dollar Tree.  You know…for shots of water and Kool Aid!    Like ya’ll…they are stating to look at me like I might have a problem because I’m buying so many…I try to convince them that the cups are for 5 year olds…and well…that sounds really bad!
So I used some of my math manipulatives to make a differentiated number recognition and writing lightbox center/workstation/hippopotamus.
Total cost of this project:  $3.
You need:  plastic manipulative cups (AKA shot glasses)  and address labels (Avery 15660)
I printed the numbers on my labels.  Get your number labels here!
Then I attached the number labels to the cups.
BAM!  Number order.  Number recognition.  Number writing.
Hands on.  Engaging.  Fun.

I made two different recording sheets so the center/workstation/hippopotamus can be easily differentiated!
