In our classroom, our word wall is a magnetic white board. I use magnetic clothepins to put the words on the word wall. This make our word wall mobile and movable so the ‘staches can grab a word, take it with them for their writing and then put it back! BAM! I used to find my little clothes pins at Target…but they no longer carry them. SO….plan B!
While at Michael’s, I stumbled across these clothespins:
These are perfect! Rainbow colors. CHECK! Slightly larger than the Target ones which means more magnetic strength! CHECK! (The smaller ones fell off sometimes so I’m hoping the larger ones with bigger magnets will hold better! Hopefully….)
I bought some sheets of magnet!
Peeled off the back and stuck the clothespins to the sticky side of the magnet sheet.
Then I cut it apart! After cutting between each clothespin, I simply trimmed off any excess and BAM! Magnetic rainbow clothespins for my word wall!
I can’t wait to reveal my new classroom complete with rainbow clothespins!
