Day 2 starts with a quick review of the words using our BIG WORDS app or our sight words projected on the smart board or screen!
Then the students generate sentences using the sight words. Sometimes this is easy and goes well, other times it can be very challenging. Of course, the level of difficulty is dictated by the words for the week.
Typically I do not model sentences on Tuesday (or Wednesday) however, if there are words that I know will be difficult or if we’re struggling, I’ll model a couple of example sentences to get us going.
So, day 2 of sight word 60 is simply the kids coming up with sentences for each word.
