Kindergarten Math: Light Box Ten Frames

Do you have a light box in your classroom that you want to use for kindergarten math lessons with ten frames? You can make a lightbox with ten frames with just a few items for a fun sensory learning activity!

Kindergarten Math: Light Box Ten Frames Materials

You will need plastic cups (we use plastic shot glasses from Dollar Tree) and clear mailing labels. You can also get the cups at places like Michaels, Walmart, etc.

You will also need numbers and ten frames to print on the labels!

Print the labels and stick them on your cups! When printing labels, we always do a test print with regular paper so we don’t waste any labels!

Students will count the ten frames and match each frame to a number. Include a recording sheet for students to write the numbers and make the ten frames!
