Schedulin Sunday! More Plants!

Happy Schedulin Sunday!!   Just a few more Schedulin Sundays left in this school year!  Can you believe how fast this year has flown by?!

This week we’re continuing our plants unit!   We’ll be observing how our grass is growing and focusing on how we use plants and how plants help us!  
This week we’re going to talk about living and non living things, plant facts, and sorting plants by tops and bottoms!

We’re going to paint a carrot using our feet!
We’re going to eat a tops and bottoms salad!
And we will be making rainbow flowers to helps us see how roots and stems move water and food through the plant!
In math, we’re starting measurement!  
This week it’s all about length and width!
We measure our friends.
We sort by size.
We measure zoo animals.
MEASURE ALL THE THINGS!
We’re also learning -ar words using Pirate Mark from Abby Mullins!   We have so much fun with these activities every year!!!!  A must have!
And our alphabet countdown continues:
V-violet (wear purple)
U-unicorns
T-thank you notes
S-sunglasses
R-rainbows
