It’s CRAFT TIME!  My friend Jenny (you know the one, Jenny From The Block!) spent the day doing projects at The Kindergarten Smorgasboard World Headquarters!  It was super fun and we were super productive so it’s OK to be jealous!
I saw these super cute paper frames on Pinterest and decided I wanted to make them for my classroom as a way to “frame excellent work!”

These were created by Create.Teach.Share and inspired me!
To make these frames I used a 12×18 piece of construction paper.  I chose blue and green becuase those are my classroom colors this year.
I measured 1 inch around all four sides.  I folded the paper in half and cut out the center.
I cut around the edges using some scalloped scissors.
I laminated the frames.
I will be attaching these to the walls in the hallway outside of my classroom.  I will leave the top free so I can slide student work down into the frame!
And now for a give away!
Ya’ll know how much I love my silly hats!  I was asked to do another article for Hameray Publishing so I wrote about using silly hats in the classroom!  You can see the article here!
But here’s what has me so excited today!  I got an email telling me to check out the homepage for this major publishing company.  Go look RIGHT NOW!  www.hameraypublishing.com
YEAH!  That’s me.  In a silly hat.  At the very top of their homepage!  OMG!  HOLY COW!
(In case they change the page before you get to see it…I took a picture for you!)
My silly hats were inspired by a product I randomly discovered on Teachers Pay Teachers last summer.  It was a set of ABC hats created by my friends at Simply Kinder.  After I used the first one in my room I realized how much fun we had and how engaged the ‘staches were.  I knew we would be doing a hat for every letter!  I didn’t know that we would become famous for silly hats!  But here we are… all thanks to a set of ABC hats on TPT!
Guess what???  The ABC hat set has been given a major update and Simply Kinder is letting me give away a set!  That’s right!  You can win a set of ABC hats so you can be just like me!  And who doesn’t wanna be like Mr. Greg!!!???
You can also win my newest common core creation, I’m A Letter Detective!
To enter leave me a comment (with your email address included!) and give an idea for a silly hat.  It can be a holiday, a theme…just any thing you would like to see as a silly hat!  I will pick a winner tomorrow sometime!
And don’t forget to go read my article at Hameray Publishing (and maybe leave some love for me there!)
