People, I am exhausted. But it has been so worth it! Wanna know why? I’ve spent the weekend with 15 of the most inspiring, hard working, HILARIOUS teachers! We’ve ate…and ate…and ate…pretty sure we just ate all weekend. And we’ve laughed. And froze at Ice! And we’ve had a blast all weekend! The 2013 Nashville Blogger/Follower Meet Up was an epic success!
A huge thank you to everyone who drove and flew to Nashville to hang out! A huge thank you to our sponsors for the great prizes!

Our weekend started off with a fantastic lunch at Amerigo! Here’s a HUGE shout-out to Josh at Amerigo for taking such good care of us and being so welcoming!! The food and service were excellent! Everyone should have some yummy Italian food at Amerigo!
Josh, the manager, was so spectacular here literally risked life and limb to get this picture of our group. He stood in the middle of West End Avenue (a major major road in Nashville…runs right by Vanderbilt University….hello traffic!) to take this picture. Josh rocks!
After lunch Elizabeth and I got to give away some prizes. People, we had so many prizes to give away!!!! Everyone won a “big” prize and a “smaller” prize. But honestly, they weren’t small…everyone walked away with some serious loot!
We had prizes from Hameray Publishing, Oriental Trading, Teacher Created Resources, Classroom Friendly Supplies, American Reading Company and C. Jayne Teach
Just look at all of those happy faces!!!!!!
And another huge thank you to these great sponsors for being so kind and generous! Without them, this would not have been possible!!!!!
After lunch, we met up for dinner at the Opryland Resort. After some excellent Mexican food, we headed into the frigid Ice! exhibit where we got to meet frosty! People, it was cold. It’s millions of pound of ice! But we had fun! Especially on the ice slides!
And our weekend ended with breakfast at Monell’s! It’s family style dining with more than enough southern cooking! People, they warn you when you sit down: “pace yourself!”
Thank you again for the amazing weekend! And for all of you who missed it this year, mark your calendar for the 2014 Nashville Blogger/Follower Meet Up! It will be the weekend after Christmas again!! Plan accordingly!
And some legal jargon…
Oriental Trading was a sponsor of this event by providing 2 $25 gift cards as door prizes.
