Here it is…the last day of 2013.  That means a  new year is upon us and it’s time for resolutions that we probably won’t keep…but it’s always nice to set goals…right?!

So, if you haven’t heard, I’m doing 3 presentations at the national kindergarten conference in Vegas this summer!  Yeah…3….and I’m a crazy nervous wreck.  This weekend during our blogger meetup, everytime Vegas came up, my heart start racing and I got all sweaty…yeah, that nervous.  My friends tried to help by telling me that there would be standing room only in my sessions…more sweat…but I’m going to do my best to make my sessions as epic and fun and informative as I can…and if all else fails, I’ll throw glitter on everyone!
And since we’re gonna be in Vegas for the week…I want to look good.  Gym and running here I come!
My class data shows we need to focus our instruction on non-fiction texts, research and writing!  So that’s what we’re gonna do.
I’m going to continue writing what I hope are fun and helpful blog posts.  Hopefully every day!  I absolutely love this blog and love sharing my very random and crazy thoughts and ideas.  I love the connections and friendships I’ve made through this journey.
Let’s be real…I am taking over the teaching world in 2014.  Get ready teacher world…
And I want to continue being happy and enjoying every blessing I have been given.  And is there a kindergarten smorgasbord baby arriving in 2014?!
Thank you for making 2013 an amazing year!  And here’s to 2014 being the best year yet!!!
