In our classroom, we have a book display shelf that we use to display our books for a theme, unit, holiday, or month. I love displaying the books because the kids can see the covers and get excited about the books. In this post, we’re sharing our April and spring book collections and read-alouds! Note: these are not comprehensive lists but simply the books we use/have in our classroom and use for virtual learning as well. We are always adding to our library so feel free to suggest your favorite titles!

One of our favorite plant read-alouds is Tops And Bottoms. Not only is this a great read-aloud for your plant unit, but it’s also a great lesson in hard work!
We even make a tops and bottoms salad using different plants that grow above and below the ground!
