A Kindergarten Smorgasboard Five For Friday!

Happy Friday!!  Today is the end of my spring break.  I spent a few hours in my classroom this morning trying to get it ready for the ‘staches.  I got all new write the room activities put up and some things organized.  I guess I’ll need to do some lesson planning so we can learn something next week!
Here are 5 pictures from my 2nd week of Spring Break!

We loved our hotel! We got a great deal on Groupon so that makes it even better!!!  We also enjoyed dinner at Wildfire which is our signature Chicago restaurant.  I heart Chicago….maybe someday we will live there!!!

This was the reason we made our way to the windy city!!  We were married a year and a half ago here in Nashville in an amazingly beautiful fall wedding.  Now we are legal!!!!  WOOHOO!!!  Seriously…classy ceremony in the basement of city hall…complete with 80’s era silk flowers and mirrors!!!!  Oh memories…

Here is a fun tidbit about Mr. Greg.  I love wild zany socks.  I have a huge sock drawer full of fun socks.  I found these at a store in Chicago and had to have them.  Seriously…the octopus?!?!?!  EPIC!

OK…I might be biased but I am LOVING my new write the room add and subtract center.  Seriously…those mushrooms and gnomes are almost as cute as Mr. Greg.  I mean for reals people…I want to create a whole set of centers with just those two sets of clip art.  OMG!   I can’t wait to turn the ‘staches loose on the Puddle Jumper Spring Centers!!!  (clic the picture to learn more about Puddle Jumper Centers!)

At the Indiana Blogger MeetUp last weekend, we got a set of chisel tip Scentos markers (these are prototypes and we’re the only people outside the factory to have them!!!) so I was super excited to use them to write my morning message for Monday.  OMG!  They smell so good.  Sorry Mr. Sketch…you’ve been replaced!!!
And now…I am getting back on track with something I started a while back and then grad school got in the way.  Friday night classes are lame!!!  But now that I’m finished…I can get back to featuring some of my fantastic friends every Friday!!
