Today is day 2 of school for me. It’s another half day! I am excited to see how the day goes and what kind of fun we get into. I do know we’re having a fire drill so that should be VERY interesting. Hopefully we’ll get out in under 5 minutes in something that resembles a line…and no one will get lost. And we’ll remember to take Pinky the Wonder Hamster…trust me, that’s more of an issue with the kids than you can imagine. Last year, I had a boy who would not leave during fire drills if I didn’t have Pinky! True story. We will read Miss Mingo to get ready. After I read the book, we practice lining up quickly and quietly when Mr. Greg makes a noise like a fire drill. If only I had a video of my fire drill impersonation to post for you all to enjoy!
