Teacher Binder!

YAY!  It’s baaaaack!  Tara over at 4th Grade Frolics is hosting her weekly Monday Made It linky party!!!!  I loved this so much last summer!  It really inspired me to find fun and useful projects to complete each week!  I was very inspired…and VERY jealous of the amazing projects everyone was completing!  Hopefully I can come up with some WOW projects this summer!  I have big plans…but we all know how that goes in the summer!

So here is my first summer project!  It’s going to keep me organized and on track for the entire school year.  I won’t forget important meetings/blog posts/birthdays and I will have every important piece of information all in one place.  Right!?  Sure.  OK, I at least have a super cute teacher binder to pretend to keep myself together….that’s what matters, right?!  It’s cute!

Last year I made a teacher binder for myself and found it so useful!  This year I decided to kick it up a notch and make it match my classroom theme!  Guess what my theme is?!?!  MUSTACHES of course!!!    So here is my Monday Made It project today:  my mustache themed teacher binder!

Here is what I have included in my notebook:
Pages for meeting notes!  We have so many meetings that I want to keep all of my notes in one place instead of scattered around in notebooks and notepads and folders where they end up lost and I end up frustrated!

A monthly calendar so I can keep track of all of those important dates.  You know, my birthday, paydays and days off!

This is one of my favorite parts of my binder!  Personalized notebook paper for notes!  People, how cute is this?!  (Makes a GREAT and simple gift too!)
To make your own personalized notebook paper, simply design a header or title (I use PowerPoint) and put regular notebook paper into your printer and print.  The trick is that it might take several attempts and adjustments to get it just right!

And something that I really need to use EVERY.  SINGLE.  DAY.  To do lists.  People, I am a hot mess at keeping track of things I need to do like projects, grades, report cards, assessments, paperwork and forms and everything!  I hope that this will help me keep track of those things and even better, I will get to mark things when I finish!  That means I will actually see progress and look productive!!!!  Nothing better than being productive…and if you can’t be productive, at least you can look productive!

I also included a section for the Common Core standards and our district pacing guides!!
So, now you’re asking, how can I make an awesome mustache themed teacher binder to be just like Mr. Greg?!?!  Well, it’s simple!  Just download these two freebies and BAM!  You have your teacher binder and you get to be just like Mr. Greg!

And now the winners of my first Kindergarten Smorgasboard Summer give away is…..Charlene!  Charlene, be on the lookout for an email from myself and Crystal at The Library Fox!
