Another day of summer break…so nice. Am I right?! I am up super early this morning because the CEO of The Kindergarten Smorgasboard decided we weren’t sleeping in today. Normally the furry little human (or at least he thinks he’s a human!) sleeps until I wake up…not today. But that just means more time to be productive!
This post has a lot going on…so buckle up! Here we go!
First things first…a major announcement…The Kindergarten Smorgasboard has taken a giant leap and is now… A DOT COM!!!!!!!! That’s right! www.thekindergartensmorgasboard.com is now the address for everyone’s favorite blog! (Don’t worry, nothing changes except the address but all links and bookmarks and everything stay the same!) I am very excited to be own dot com! WOOHOO!
And now Monday means Monday Made It! I am linking up with my friend Tara at 4th Grade Folics for her Monday Made It party!

Greg, you are my favorite. I love that you think if you can sew, then that means I can sew. Because I cannot sew to save my life. BUT, your video kind of makes me think different 😉

Oh and what a GREAT repurpose for those stools. LOVE.
Congrats on the .com Greg! The Kindergarten Smorgasbord is getting real professional now!
Love the spray painted stools! They looks like they were made for that balcony!
Those books look like a great idea but the sewing scares me too. I will have to give it a go though! Thanks for sharing!

i think i might try the book making with a combination of plain and lined paper. i like to give the kids independent journals to express themselves. vhair61215@gmail.com

Hi Greg,
Love all your stuff! Well as promised I have posted my READ word tutorial. Hopefully your CEO furry human will let you sleep in tomorrow. I know my silly little pug doesn't let me sleep in much.

These are cute! I'm going to use graph paper to make some math notebooks for my kiddos.

These are great. Another teacher and I have been trying to find an alphabet/word study journal for next year. This would be great for that. I was thinking that they could be used when we do the hands-on science unit Myself and Others/all about me. One page could be self, family, favorites etc. Could possibly get a grade(don't get me started!) from this. Thanks for the video.

I think I would use these in our writing workshop! I love it! Thanks for sharing.
I love that you went to dot.com! Now I can see what fabulous things you are up to while I am at school. Love the notebooks. Adding that to my list of fun things to do this summer.
Love the books, going to make some for Pattern books!
