Happy Thursday!  It’s Thrifty Thursday here at The Kindergarten Smorgasboard!  Today I want to show you a thrifty deal I found at Wal-Mart!  These were $1 at Wal-Mart.  I have heard that you can find them at the Dollar Tree and online also!

I  have seen these little finger lights used for guided reading and always said I wanted to try them out.  Finally I ran across some!  I’m super excited!

These little lights will hopefully help my ‘staches with their tracking skills!  And really, arent’ they fun and pretty?!?!  I can see these being used for fun sight word games (light up the words on the word wall!)  At the beginning of the year you could light up letters and numbers!  You could write equations on the board and students can light up the equation that is equal to a certain sum!  So many possibilities for just $1!

How would you use these in your classroom?
And be sure to link up your Thrifty Thursday post!
