Ya’ll know how much I love all things glittery.
And sparkly.
And golden.
And messy.
So you can just picture my total excitement when I came across a recipe for GOLD SLIME!
It combines my favorite things…glitter…sparkles…and a big giant mess!
You know my motto:  messy=success!
So here’s what you need:
Liquid starch
gold glitter glue (found in the craft section)
clear glue
warm water
The recipe:
1/2 cup of gold glitter glue
The trick is…fill the 1/2 cup about 2/3 of the way up and then fill the rest of the way with clear clue.  MIX WELL!   THIS IS KEY!  (We found out the hard way!)
Add this mixture to a 1/2 cup of warm water.  (I actually used a little less water…)
Mix these ingredients well.  It should mix into a pretty liquidy gold glittery sparkly solution.
Then add in a 1/2 cup of starch and mix with your hands!
BAM!  GOLD SLIME!
After we made our slime, the ‘staches each got a cup full of slime to play with and explore and take home!
