Schedulin Sunday: Presidents and Place Value Lesson Plans

Happy Schedulin Sunday!
This is going to be a short and sweet post for 2 reasons….
Um, once again we missed a whole week for snow and ice…so our math will be the same as we had planned for last week.
And…Smorgie is sick.  I’m battling a cold so I wanna go curl up in bed.  But I didn’t want to let ya’ll down and not post what I have planned this week!   (Cuz I know ya’ll are waiting on pins and needles to see…hehe….ok, not really, but just in case, I didn’t want to disappoint!)
This week is all about presidents and place value!
As always, you can snag my lesson plans by clicking the picture to download them for free!
We will be reading lots of presidential books this week!
We will be researching, writing and drawing presidents this week!
For George, Abe and Barack, we will read a book and complete a tree map.
Then we will write about each of the presidents and complete a directed drawing!
For a free set of directed drawing instructions, click here!
In previous years, we’ve used these ADORABLE presidential crafts from Teacher To The Core!
We will also be building a banana log cabin for our Foodie Fun Friday snack!
We also do a fun math game using pennies and quarters!

In math, we are working on place value since  we didn’t get to it last week!
To see, what we have planned for place value, click the picture!
We will also use our pool noodle place value in small groups to reinforce our place value learning!

And that sums up our week!
Here’s a little freebie for ya!
And that is our week!  And since they’re not calling for any snow, we might actually get the whole week in!   Fingers crossed!
