I found these pumpkin candy containers at Wal-Mart last year. But you can use any containers or plastic eggs or no container at all.
Next, I used our ESGI assessment data to see the sight words that my kids were missing the most. (CHECK OUT ESGI FOR YOUR ASSESSMENT NEEDS! IT’S A MUST HAVE IN THE CLASSROOM!
Then I used these adorable pumpkin letters from Jen Hart Design to make the sight words. These are the words my kids need to practice the most!
Place the words into the pumpkins.
Students open the pumpkin, read the words and write the words for a simple fall sight words activity!
