TGIF!  Another week is over.  My feet hurt something awful.  For those of you on spring break, woohoo!!  We still have 4 days in the kindergarten smorgasbaord next week and a workshop on Friday!  Then it’s 2 weeks of joy (and moving into a new house!)

Today I am excited to share a great product with you!  My friend Kerri from Ms.Kerri And Her Krazy Kindergarten shared this buggy words pack with me!

Our favorite activity was definitely SPLAT!  The kids had a BLAST playing with our SPLAT Swatters and being allowed to smack stuff.  I mean, really, who doesn’t love smacking things sometimes!!!
This activity was PERFECT for us because our SMART goal is sight word phrases!  I loved playing this game with the monsters today and I know we will be playing a lot more!

We also loved using the word building boxes!!  I modified this activity a bit by letting the monsters use magnetic letters to build the words!  (Sometimes, we eat little card-stock letters…OK, not really but we do destroy them!)  The monsters loved the magnetic letters and making words.  Something about seeing the letters come together to make a word gets them excited!
This has been a GREAT addition to our centers!  The monsters LOVE it.  It is so useful and was easy to set up and implement!  And we get to swat things!!
Speaking of swatting, check out my super early morning Wal-Mart find!  (People, I wake up at 5am so I can do my school shopping early at Wal-Mart without the people of Wal-Mart!   AND they were just $1!  People, $1!!!
Be sure to check out Ms. Kerri and tell her Mr. Greg said hello!
Get ready!  It’s March Madness time!  GO HOOSIERS!   Anyways, I am joining up with my friends from Kinderland for a March Madness Sale!  My store will be 20% off with a couple of little surprises thrown in!  Load up those carts and get ready for some madness!
The sale is Sunday, Monday and Tuesday!!!
