A Kindergarten Smorgasboard of Thrilling Thursday Centers!

First things first…are your kids as wild as mine?  OMG!  If I have to ring that doorbell one more time to get them quiet that bell is going to meltdown.  I.  just.  want.  them.  to.  stop. talking.  5 more days until a 2 week (YES PEOPLE!  TWO WEEK!) spring break!  5 days.  5 days.

And check this out!!!  I just hit 1,000 followers for this manly little kindergarten blog!  I will have one of those sentimental blog posts next week…and you know this means a HUGE…people, I am talking ginormous giveaway.  Last time I checked there were like 70 of the biggest and best bloggers donating to the give away!  Epic. The glitter is going to fly and fly!  And thank you for following me and all of the amazing support!  My followers are simply amazing!

And now the goods!  It’s picture Thursday!  It’s thrilling Thursday Thenters! HEHE  See how I did that!?  Check out our fun and engaging common core aligned centers!
Subtracting shamrocks!  We have done subtraction a little bit, but this center has really helped the monsters.  I am very pleased with how well they have already picked up the “take away” idea!

Counting tally marks from the paint!  (HEY I made an appropriate basketball sports reference…who knew?!)

Ten frames!  This is my new student.  Look at her shaking things up.  Most of us just do dots.  This lovely is doing hearts for her ten frames!

Number puzzles are still are most favorite math center.  These two got so excited every time they completed a puzzle!  Fun.  Engaging.  Exciting.
More subtraction (to 10) for my higher students.

Have I said that we LOVE ten frames!  Well, we do!
Glittery basketball tally marks!  Look at the one to one correspondence!!!
Roll, count and cover tally marks!  Shamrock style!  Look at the pure joy on his face!  LOVING that center!
Basektball CVC words!

This is one of my favorite centers for beginning sounds!   I am so glad it was in my classroom when I took over!

Sorting pictures by ending sounds!
I made this super cute center before I knew anything about creating resources…but it’s a super fun center where the monsters use clothespins programmed with letters to clip onto words to make words!
And that is thrilling Thursday thenters for the week!!
You can check out these centers in these common core aligned creations!

Yesterday I had a give away for my new basketball creation, well the response was HUGE so I used the random number thingy to choose two winners!  They are….
