I admit. I LOVE MY iPad!! Seriously. That thing is amazing. I can watch movies and TV with it! I can keep notes and ideas on it. I can play games and take pictures. I can edit pictures. I can stalk follow people on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter! I can read books on it! And I can even use it to help enhance my students learning! How cool is that little device?!
So I recently asked for a list of your favorite apps and I got a ton! I love that there were so many I had not heard of! So I compiled them into a cute little picture for you! Do you use any of these? Can you share insight on them? Do you have others that aren’t mentioned?
I love InstaGram! People post the best pictures on there! It’s so much fun seeing what people are doing when they’re not in their classroom! A Beautiful Mess is a cool app for writing and drawing on your photos! I’m still figuring it out but it’s fun being able to make your pictures look super cute!
These are some literacy apps for your students. In my class we use Letter School and LOVE IT! It’s a differentiated handwriting app! I highly recommend it!
I also use the Word Wizard app which can be differentiated and is a powerful tool for CVC words and phoneme segmentation practice!
These math apps are all new to me!! I can’t wait to check them out and try them with my new class of mustaches!

People, the mister is ADDICTED to the Candy Crush. NOT ME! I ain’t doin’ it. Nope. But for those of you who do it, keep it up! And give the mister some lives or whatever it is he needs!
I do love the Teachers Pay Teachers app! It makes buying amazing classroom resources so fun and simple!
So there you have a kindergarten smorgasboard of apps to help ya have fun, shop, share and meet some common core standards! And who doesn’t love technology?!
