We love to use ABC books in our classroom, especially at the beginning of the school year! High-quality, engaging, fun alphabet books are essential in helping our kids learn sounds and letters. We recently asked for suggestions for everyone’s favorite ABC books and compiled this list! We’re also including some of our classroom favorites!

Here’s an idea for Old Black Fly: after reading the story you can do a painting project. Squit black paint on paper and have students blow the paint with a straw. Then add the first letter of their name that you cut out using a die-cut machine!
