If you follow this blog or follow me on social media, you know music and YouTube is a central part of our classroom. We love to sing and dance. I love being able to use music and video to teach my students. The visual of video is so powerful for our students and music is a powerful teaching tool. So, we’ve been watching a subitizing video on YouTube that my kids love. I decided to make my own version using clipart from the official clip art designer of The Kindergarten Smorgasboard. For all your clip art needs, check out Jen Hart Design.

I love this subitizing video and I know my students will too! Thank you!
Awesome, thank you so much!!
I love your subitizing video. Is there a way to slow it down a little? My Kinders need a few more seconds on most slides? Thanks.
There is no way to slow this one down but I will work on a 2nd that is a little slower. Please keep in mind that you want your students to be able to do this quickly but it does take practice so a slower version completely makes sense and will allow your students to practice a little bit. I recommend that after using the slower version as practice you then challenge them by using this faster version! Thank you for the idea…THIS is what The Kindergarten Smorgasboard is all about….collaboration and sharing!!!
Awesome video! My kids are gonna love this!
