Butterfly Subtraction!

Recently I was browsing at Wal-Mart and came across these adorable butterfly containers!
As soon as I saw them I knew they were going to be in my classroom!!!   So I  bought all of them.
There are 3 butterflies per package.  Each package is 98 cents.
I used my trusty Silhouette Cameo and cut out subtraction equations for subtracting to 10.
Then I stuck the equation on one side of the butterfly and the answer on the other side!
Simply subtract, find the answer and snap the butterfly together!  Then you can record your work!
These butterfly containers can be used with dice for adding and subtracting!
They can be used with 2 color counters!
And if you don’t have a Cameo machine, no fear!  You can simply write on the butterflies with a Sharpie!
